$AMZN is CRUSHING IT. More specifically, #AWS is absolutely crushing it. Two articles: GeekWire 01 GeekWire 02 How the heck did an online bookseller turn an obscure B2B cloud services platform into a $10B business? It's almost like a work of fiction, but it's the cray cray, cold, harsh truth. With Azure over in Redmond, Western Washington, aka Seattle, truly is the Cloud Capital of the world. I just sit here and shake my head at how massive this side business became and $MSFT is trying to keep up. Huge kudos to Andy Jassy and the AWS team. I was out there last week with my 'Powered by AWS' t-shirt. I don't remember how I got it, but with $AMZN being such a beast of an employer out here, it was probably some sort of marketing event. It fits great. As you can see, the biospheres are coming along nicely. One of them got painted very recently. I like to think that Bezos is practicing what it would be like to build these biospheres on other planets. I keep forgetting that these crazy little domes are being built right now. They will be a permanent part of the Seattle skyline, so I don't want to take the opportunity to witness their construction for granted. All I can say is I wish I was a long time shareholder of $AMZN.
