On top is my wife's new Apple Watch. She got it for her birthday very recently. On bottom is my virtual Apple Watch. I assembled it by combining a 6th generation 8GB iPod nano with a LunaTik Multi-Touch Watch Band a few years ago... Hers is ver1.0 Mine is ver 0.1 Here it is in a great little video: Only after I used mine for a few weeks did I realize that mine has everything I want, except Bluetooth. If it had Bluetooth, then it would be PERFECT. Alas, Apple makes more money from selling Apples watches than from selling cheaper iPod nanos. When I assembled mine a few years ago, both the nano and the LunaTik were full price. So pretty expensive. Now, you can find a nano and LunaTik on eBay and assemble your very own non-Bluetooth Virtual Apple Watch like mine for easily less than $100. Do it!

I officially think the 7th generation iPod nano sucks. Way too big to make into a watch. Way too little storage. Needs at least 128GB.
