Got some thoughts you need to get off your chest?
Been churning over some opinions that you're dying to exorcise? Have an idea that you want to put into the world somehow? Do you need to vent in a funny way about a really bad process at work? Have I got a deal for you! Maybe you don't have a blog yet. Maybe you're just not that comfortable writing publicly, for all the world to see. Maybe you're toying around with the idea of starting a blog, but you want to dip a toe in the water first to see how it feels. I can personally say that the idea of writing your thoughts and ideas down on virtual paper for all the world to see is a little bit terrifying at first. Then it's oddly exhilarating. Sort of like a suspense-filled scene in a horror movie. But think about it this way... If you are an information worker, you have to know that every email you send out into your company, or to your customers is basically open to public scrutiny. All it takes a couple of forwards by a couple of coworker acquaintances and whatever you wrote will become a permanent digital artifact in the history of the public internet. The internet is said to have a perfect digital memory. In other words, you can never delete anything once it's out there. I write emails to customers every single day, and if I ain't careful, then what I write could haunt me down the road. CORRECTION: I write emails to customers every single day, and if I am not careful, then what I write could haunt me down the road. So if you know me, and you want to kept anonymous, then great! You have 100% of my amateur journalistic integrity that I will never reveal who you are. I say that in partial jest, but if you know me at all, then you know my reputation and the level of integrity with which I approach my professional life. If you want credit and you have a twitter handle, or an instagram, or other public persona that you want to promote, then great! I will be glad to help promote your public profile. Some topics that would fit well with the overall theme here: * technology (this topic covers a massive amount of possibilities) * startups * investing * stocks * entertainment * music - (I have to interject here: R.I.P. Prince. I loved his work immensely. I can't believe he's already gone. Really sad...) * behavioral economics * psychology * leadership * food * relationships * books * business * politics * raising children * religion * medicine * law * a random funny story I will warn you, that if you are anywhere near the same kind of mindset as I am, or you're at a certain level of professional development, then you're going to have some great insights about the world. You're going to want to share your observations and knowledge and stories and wisdom. And it's going to provide value to the world. Please get in touch and before you write it, let me know what you're thinking about writing and hopefully, it will be a good fit for a guest post here. Maybe read over what I have written over the past year to get a feel for the flavor, tone, content and style of humor. I'd like to keep it similar for the sale of continuity, but I am willing to try anything at least a couple of times. My dear friends, I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon! -dhy

Hmmm I might sign up for it. :) Investor herd mentality. Today an investor argued that the RevShare agreements I had in writing were not possible. Let me repeat. Agreements in writing, signed by other businesses. He shouted and yelled, and stamped his feet that he was right. ... Unfortunately for me, his grey hairs and loud voice was heard. Unfortunately for him, I shake my head at him. Head shake... and then, I move on. Where are the people that can think critically on their own?
