I am definitely enjoying my continued social media experience in Twitter. I thought I would never say it. But it's a fact. And today it really rang true. You see, Pulp Fiction is one of my favorite movies of all time. It really made a big impression on me. I had never seen anything like it before. The dark comedy. The tension between friends. The non-chronological storytelling. It was just so amazing! And today I happen to discover no one else other than not Samuel L. Jackson on Twitter. But Startup L. Jackson. Whoever it is, they are absolutely prolific: over 5000 tweets as of today on the topic of startups, tech, and internet culture. It's just INSANE. If you tweet once a day, that's over 13.5yrs of tweets. I am very comfortable tweeting nowadays (because at first you feel a little bit self conscious to throw yourself out into the public like that), but even tweeting once a day is hard with a full time day job, and packed nights and weekends full of all kinds of wife, work and fun. So here is the tweet I sent today in honor of one of the best renditions of a bible passage quote that I can think of: Twitter has that magical ability to connect you to someone you don't know very far away. All it took was for the person to click the favorite button on my tweet and I know he/she saw it. It's internet-time-based instant gratification at its best!
So if you aren't on Twitter yet, then please consider joining. Follow me and my LuggageDonkey ways. See me carry luggage for others (mainly for @ArryinSeattle) to make the world a better place. p.s. if you join twitter, then you can help make $TWTR stock not as much of a #POS. p.p.s. so maybe 5000 tweets isn't really all that much. because she has over 13.6k of them since 2008! jeez!!
